Since 2016, Haney and Hayes, colloquially known as The Deviant Darlings, have been on the journey of a thousand tales. Their joy for writing and helping authors led to the launch of Their day job–see 19hr days–lol is as owners of Haney Hayes Promotions (HHP), or Haney Hayes PR, where they help authors realize their dreams. Be they just starting out or have accolades like USA Today or Wallstreet Journal, HHP strives to give every author we work with the support they need so that they can do what they love.
They balance each other with crazy antics and creative upheavals, making for a writing life that is anything but ordinary.

Jess–aka J.Haney–the Darling One. Born and bred in Kentucky, she’s sweet as iced tea should be, but also a little bit feisty.
Being a Southern girl, through and through, she is all about family, which is reflected in the strong and often dysfunctional nature of her characters.
Her work tends to lean toward real life, drawing her readers into the world, leaving them in pieces as she holds up a mirror, making them see what hides behind the masks of politeness, breaking barriers and hearts along the way. Yet her stories are also hopeful, and when push comes to shove, her characters often find that happiness is attainable, but sometimes you have to go through it to get to it.
Jess loves books of all genres except horror… The big Chicken! She is never more excited than when she is introduced to a new author and has been likened to a kid in a candy shop.
At one time, she self-identified as the world's biggest book whore, but with a physical collection of 2k books and still counting, she has certainly expanded her horizons and now soars high as the Guardian Dragon of her very own library.
Sassy and badassy, no matter what she's bringing, she always keeps it classy. It's time for you to GET REAL.
Shannon–aka S.I. Hayes–the Deviant One. Coming from New England, she’s a little crass and full of sass. She’s J. Haney’s PIC and best friend.

From Paranormal Drama to Erotic Romance, S.I. Hayes dips her fingers deeply into the pools of literature where her easily distracted and prone to wandering mind can let loose. Tangents are her forte, and if you think her characters are going to fit a cookie-cutter shape of any kind, think again. They live, they love, they eat, sleep, and f**k.
She believes that people are inherently sexual creatures, and her characters, be they human or something altogether else, are no exception. Incapable of adhering to a single genre, she toes the line on several and wouldn't presume to be a master of any.
A self-proclaimed jack-of-all-trade-paperbacks, she is a truth seeker in life, which is reflected in her work, as she twists, carves, shapes, and molds it into the worlds of her characters with a chainsaw.
